Creator of C++ to Speak in Tallinn for Software Conference
The creator of the programming language C++, Bjarne Stroustrup, is holding a lecture in Tallinn during ETAPS 2012, a major software conference.
Around 650 computer specialists from 41 countries have registered for the event.
One of the most noted speakers at the conference, Stroustrup, is a Danish computer science professor at Texas A&M University.
Hosted by Swissotel and the Tallinn University of Technology, the conference will be held from March 24 to April 1. Established in 1998, this is the first year that ETAPS will be held in Northern Europe.
The local organizer of the conference is the Institute of Cybernetics at the Tallinn University of Technology. The Institute of Cybernetics is Estonia's leading computer science institution, which coordinates the Center for Excellence in Computer Science, a project connecting Estonian computer specialists.
