Border Treaty Signing to Take Place in Tallinn
The Estonian-Russian border treaty will reportedly be signed in Tallinn, in July at the latest.
Although the Estonian Foreign Ministry has not revealed the location of the signing, several sources have confirmed to Eesti Päevaleht that it will be Tallinn.
The same Estonian and Russian foreign ministers, Urmas Paet and Sergei Lavrov, signed the previous border treaty in Moscow in 2005, before the Russian Duma withdrew its support due to an Estonian internal ratification preamble that made reference to the Tartu Peace Treaty.
Talks were relaunched last year.
