This Weekend's Weather: As Good as It Gets ({{commentsTotal}})

The country will enjoy a three-day spell of warm, dry weather, with the Meteorology and Hydrology Institute confident enough to use the "sajuta" (rainless) descriptor.

Highs from Friday to Sunday will be in the low-to-mid 20s Celsius, with Saturday the warmest of the days. As is typical for this time of year, the coasts will tend to be on the 20 C side while the inland regions will be 25-27 C.

Winds will be from 8-25 kph, from the northeast on Friday and Saturday and variable direction on Sunday. Nightly lows will be 8-15 C tonight and 11-16 C on Saturday night.

Looking ahead to next week, muggier nights and partly cloudy skies are in the offing, with a chance of sprinkles here and there.
