Kanter Takes Bronze in Moscow ({{commentsTotal}})


Former Olympic and world discus champion Gerd Kanter has added another medal to his collection, throwing 65.19 meters to claim the bronze medal at the Moscow track and field World Championships.

Germany's Robert Harting won gold, throwing 69.11 meters, while Piotr Malachowski collected silver, with a result of 68.36.

Kanter, who turned 34 in May, has a gold medal from the 2008 Beijing Olympics and a bronze from the London games last year, in addition to his one gold, four silver and now two bronze medals from European and World Championships. He failed to beat his season best of 66.97.
