In a municipal election footnote, the border town of Valga has managed to finalize its coalition, one of the last larger municipalities to do so.

A trilateral coalition was formed between Reform, IRL and the Social Democrats, leaving the Center Party in the cold despite the fact that it led with the highest percentage of votes.

Valga's city council has 21 seats and the new coalition has 12 of them - six for Reform, five for the Social Dems, one for IRL and nine for Center.

The Social Democratic incumbent will continue as mayor and Reform will hold the city council chairman post.
