Moscow Patriarch to Arrive Friday
Patriarch Kirill I of Moscow is expected to visit Estonia on Friday, having scheduled meetings with, among others, the prime minister, foreign minister, Parliament speaker, Tallinn mayor and archbishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
On Saturday, the religious leader will head to Ida-Viru County where he will visit a number of churches. The visit is expected to draw thousands of pilgrims, from neighboring countries as well.
On Sunday, he will return to Tallinn where he will host the first liturgy in the yet-to-be completed Lasnamäe Orthodox Church. Later, he will meet with archbishop Andres Põder later in the day.
The patriarch will leave Estonia on Sunday afternoon.
