Helmet-Clad, Possibly Armed Man Robs Tallinn Jewelry Store
A man is at large after robbing a jewelry store at the Viru shopping center in downtown Tallinn at 12:30 this afternoon.
Witnesses said the man appeared to have a gun and threatened the store clerk at Aphrodite, a gold shop. No one was harmed in the incident, police spokeswoman Helen Uldrich told uudised.err.ee.
The perpetrator spoke Russian and was wearing a motorcylce helmet to conceal his face.
The store has not yet said how much the stolen merchandise cost. According to uudised.err.ee, the man could have made away with about five display trays.
