First E-Pharmacy to Open ({{commentsTotal}})

Regulators have issued a license to what will be Estonia's first Internet pharmacy.

The Terve Pere pharmacy in Mustamäe, which operates under the Apotheka trademark, is set to open shop online on November 11.

The pharmacy is required to deliver all purchases within three days.

Both over-the-counter and prescription drugs as well as some veterinary medications will be available to Internet shoppers.

Electronic versions of prescriptions, termed "digi-prescriptions" and already in wide use in the Estonian health care system, are required to buy restricted medicines.
