This Weekend's Weather: Still Warm, Wet
No big weather changes are in store for the coming weekend, which is expected to come with moderate amounts of precipitation and temperatures mainly just above the zero point.
A little snow and sleet, along with coastal winds gusting up to 50 kph, are in the cards for late Friday and early Saturday as the remnants of an Atlantic system move in, the Meteorology and Hydrology Institute reported. Precipitation, in the form of rain and sleet, should increase in probability during the day, when temperatures are expected to range from 0 to +3 C, rising as high as +5 C in the west.
Thermometer readings should stick to the same 0 to +3 C through Saturday night and Sunday.
A break in the rain is due to come on Sunday morning, thanks to a high-pressure zone sweeping over the country during the day. In the evening, however, more rain and sleet are expected.
