Vassiljev Receives Another Goal of the Year Award ({{commentsTotal}})

Journalists found that Estonian national footballer Konstantin Vassiljev scored the "most beautiful goal of 2013," which means he has won the award for the third time in a row.

The midfielder's goal to make it 2-1 against Netherlands in a World Cup qualifying match in Tallinn edged out Sergei Zenjov's strike against Azerbaijan. Vassiljev's first strike against Netherlands came third.

The most beautiful goal of the year is decided by a panel of 16 journalists, of whom all voted for Vassiljev's goal.

His third award in a row, and fourth overall, means that he has moved to the top of the list, as Martin Reim and Indrek Zelinski, both retired, have three awards each.
