One of the best-known sociologists of the age, Zygmunt Bauman, discussed culture and politics with leading Estonian academic Rein Raud.  

The proceedings, in English, were seen on this page courtesy of kultuur.err.ee and will later be available on-demand . The conversation circle was hosted by the Writers Union and moderated by Tallinn University associate professor Marek Tamm

An earlier conversation between Raud and Bauman, recorded in June 2006, can be seen below. 

Bauman, an emeritus professor at the universities of Leeds and Warsaw, is visiting Estonia from January 20-24. Raud is currently a professor at the University of Helsinki and a leading researcher at Tallinn University.
