Update: One More Skier Added to Olympics Team ({{commentsTotal}})

A reallocation of places available in the cross-country skiing competition in Sochi has meant that Estonia will be adding one more member to its Olympics team, bringing the total membership to 24.

The Estonian Olympic Committee said today that the sixth and newest member of the ski team will be 24-year-old Raido Ränkel, who initially just missed out on making the cut, reported ERR Sport.

"I am happy that one more young athlete will have the chance to realize his Olympic dream and realize his years-long work," EOC President Neinar Seli said in a press release.

Yesterday the EOC announced its official list of participants, which included nine biathletes, five cross-country skiers, three Nordic combined skiers, two Alpine skiers, two ski jumpers and two figure skaters.
