This week may see more mild weather with some precipitation and mostly modest winds, temperatures continue to fluctuate around the 0 mark.

On Tuesday, most of the country is likely to see some sleet and possible strong winds, with daytime temperatures remaining between 0 and 2 C over the next two days.

By Thursday, a new low-pressure front will edge closer, increasing the likelihood of snow and rain.

The weather on Friday will be influenced by developments on the Atlantic - a strong cycle may push its way to Scandinavia and take the temperatures around the Baltic Sea above 0.
