Kross: The Removal of Interpol Wanted Notice No Coincidence
The removal of a wanted notice for Eerik-Niiles Kross on the Interpol site on the same day Estonia and Russia signed a border treaty is no coincidence, the politician said.
Kross told Postimees that the notice was hardly removed just for the fun of it, and the day of the removal is definitely symbolic.
Russia had previously posted the warrant notice on August 8, the anniversary of the start of the 2008 Russian-Georgian war and the last time the notice appeared on Interpol’s site was shortly before the Estonian local elections, on October 18.
The removal of the warrant from the website does not mean he is no longer in the database of wanted people, Kross added.
