EOC President Denies Corruption Charge
Neinar Seli, the head of the Estonian Olympic Committee (EOC), said he did not participate in a vote to hand sponsorship funds to the EOC from a state company he also chairs.
Seli told uudised.err.ee that he resigned from the sponsorship committee at the Port of Tallinn after being elected to lead the EOC, and did not vote to sponsor the EOC.
The Central Criminal Police charged Seli on corruption charges on Tuesday, accusing him of voting to hand the EOC 250,000 euros last October.
