Estonian league champion FC Levadia had to admit defeat in the Super Cup, the traditional football season's curtain raiser.

Flora was out for revenge, having lost the last eight official games between the two clubs. Flora claimed the club's eighth Super Cup title, and fifth against Levadia, with a minimal 1-0 tonight.

The 600 people, who had turned out to watch the match, had to wait until the 87th minute for the winner, which was scored by Flora's Zakaria Beglarišvili, a 23-year-old Georgian plying his trade in Tallinn since 2010.

The league season kicks off on March 1.
