Estonia opened a new consulate last week to serve Estonians with a legitimate status inside the United States.
The consulate is located in St. Petersburg, Florida, at Eckerd College, and is tasked with serving 56 surrounding counties. They accepted applications for new identity cards, new passports, and passport renewals. Lisa Ann Mets will lead the consulate.
Estonia has similar consulates in other U.S. cities, including: Boston, Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco, St. Petersburg, Fla., Huntersville, N.C., Charlestown, S.C, Portsmouth, N.H., Lincoln, Neb., and Houston, Texas.
