Commenting on today’s meeting with the Reform Party, Social Democrat Urve Palo said that the two parties have a coinciding vision of social policy.

The parties held consultations for starting coalition talks and social policy issues such as health care were discussed.

“In general, we have a similar vision on social policy and health care. There was little arguing, more like constructive and substantial discussions on how to proceed with one issue or another,” Palo told uudised.err.ee.

Collection of alimony was an area that sparked arguments, she said. But on the general organization of health care and labor reform, a position accepted by both sides was found, she added, without providing details.

The two parties meet again tonight to discuss economic issues.
