GALLERY: Concert for Ukraine
Hundred of people showed up in snowy conditions to listen to a free concert in Freedom Square on Sunday afternoon in the support of Ukraine during the current crisis in Crimea.
More than 10 Estonian and Ukrainian artists performed on stage, watched by students, NGO groups, and members of the public.
Peformers included Svjata Vatra with the police and border guard orchestra (video here), Tõnis Mägi, Siiri Sisask, Sofia Rubina, Lauri Saatpalu and Dagö, Margus Põldsepp, Johanson, Mary Horn, the Žurba Ukrainian folk ensemble, the Vidlunnja European Capital of Culture mixed choir, and some ensemble singing.
The concert was sponsored by the Congress of Ukrainians in Estonia, the Estonian Student Unions, and the Open Estonia Foundation.
