A man in the Lasnamäe district of Tallinn was shot and killed in a pawn shop by a staff member during a robbery attempt.
Police have now confirmed that on Wednesday evening two masked men exchanged fire with at least one employee. The staff member shot and killed one robber, suffering minor injuries in the process.
Police said the staff member used a private and registered firearm and the fleeing robber did not manage to steal anything.
A witness told ETV that a man in a red mask ran from the shop around 18:00 on Wednesday, while a second man was seen lying on the ground near the door.
