Three Men Missing After Boating Accident ({{commentsTotal}})

Last night, the Rescue Board was notified of a rowboat capsizing on the Tamula lake, located in Võru in southern Estonia, and three men are missing, with two rescue workers among them.

The call came in at 2.32 a.m. and the police and rescue workers began searching for the men, but with no results so far.

Marek Kiik from the Southern Rescue Center told that two of the men were rescue workers themselves.

"It is a very tragic situation for the loved ones of the missing men and the rescue workers of Võru County, who have worked with the missing men, side by side, for years, but also for other colleagues from the Rescue Board. The men went missing when they were off duty and all circumstances will be investigated by the police," Kiik said.
