Football Champion Beats Season's Surprise Package 3-0 ({{commentsTotal}})

Last season's Estonian league football champion FC Levadia defeated FC Infonet, previously sitting second in the league, 3-0 in tonight's league game which was shown live via the Web on this site.

The win means Levadia climb from fifth to third in the league standings, one point behind Infonet and two behind the three leaders. Sillamäe Kalev. FC Flora and Nõmme Kalju are all tied with 11 points so far this season.

The visitors had threatened to hold out for a draw, but three goals by Levadia in the last 15 minutes handed the champions three points in the standings race. 

Infonet has picked up three points against both Flora and Kalju, albeit by default against the former.

Infonet's goal against Paide was voted the most beautiful goal of March in the top league. You can watch it here.

Newcomer Jõhvi Lokomotiv is at the bottom of the table, yet to win a point.
