This Weekend's Weather: Higher Temperatures, With a Catch
Low early spring-like temperatures may have passed, but the warm weather will come at a price – a weekend of non-stop rain.
Friday's rainclouds could be replaced by a low-pressure front, which will bring more rain and the possibility of lightning, if the Environmental Agency is correct. Only the major islands could escape rain.
Saturday day-time temperatures could go as high as 20C, but will stick around the 15 C mark in most areas.
Rainfall will spike on Saturday evening, but temperatures will also drop on Sunday.
Looking ahead, another low-pressure area threatens to bring more rain across the nation from Sunday evening, with the rest of the week experiencing on-again, off-again rain and daytime temperatures around 10-15 C.
