Iskander Missiles Figure In Russian Military Exercise ({{commentsTotal}})


Iskander-M missiles, the supersonic tactical missile capable of reaching most Nordic capitals from their launch pads in Western Russia, were test fired today in a military exercise.  

The announcement from the Russian Defense Ministry said the exercises were aimed at hone the ability to destroy vital surface sites using both ground and air-based precision weapons.

The exercises, which will last until June 5, involve one western district missile unit and long-range air force planes.
