Parliament approved seven bills on Wednesday evening and will head to the summer break at the end of next week.

Parliament voted to amend the Medicinal Products Act, which will guarantee the consistent availability of medicines in Estonia, and prevent situations where strategic drugs, such as flu vaccines, are not available in the country for certain periods. Sixty-nine MPs voted for the amendment.

Amendments to the Courts Act, changes to the way public land is taxed, and a requirement that alcohol, tobacco, fuel and electricity shipments in Estonia need a e-certificate were also among the new laws.
