Estonian film director Veiko Õunpuu's latest project, “Roukli,”collected 16,711 euros from a crowdfunding project, surpassing the 15,000 goal.

A total of 477 people made a donation to the movie, which is taking a more theater-like, improvisational approach.

Shooting began in Saaremaa last week with Õunpuu keeping silent on the storyline, with the only information revolving around an untranslatable Inuit concept of iktsuarpok - “That vague feeling of anticipation that leads you to keep looking outside to see if someone is coming.
