Plane Damaged in Landing at Tallinn Airport, No Injuries
A Smartlynx Airlines Estonia flight from Bourgas, Bulgaria, sustained damage to its tail today in a landing at Tallinn Airport.
The tail came into contact with the runway before the landing gear as it arrived at 11:52 on Thursday.
A representative for the Riga-based carrier, Jurgis Sedlenieks, told uudised.err.ee that the plane taxiied safely to a point where passengers were discharged. No injuries were sustained among crew or passengers, he said.
Margit Holts, spokeswoman for Tallinn Airport, told uudised.err.ee that conditions were good at the airport at that time.
Experts are on scene to appraise damage to the aircraft.
