Tram lines number 1 and 2 resumed service Monday, after a break of nearly a month for repair and upgrade works.

The trams lines, connecting Kopli with Kadriorg and the Ülemiste area, were shut down at the beginning of August, with a replacement bus service organized instead. The replacement bus, number 42, from Kopli to Ülemiste, has now ended.

Tallinn's two other lines, the number 3 from Tondi to Kadriorg, and number 4, Tondi to Ülemiste, are expected to begin service in November.
