Police are saying that they advise schools in the city center to consider canceling classes on September 3, the day of US President Barack Obama's visit.

Traffic restrictions will be in place between 9:30 and 17:30.

"I recommend all school and childcare directors to seriously consider what will be happening in the city center on September 3. Theoretically it will be possible to get everywhere but it may in practice be complicated and time-consuming," said Kristian Jaani, head of the Northern Prefecture, to uudised.err.ee.

Tallinn Education Department director Andres Pajula told Postimees they were in the process of deciding with other departments whether schools will be closed or not.
