Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves is flying to Kyiv today and will meet his counterpart Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin.

The meetings will focus on the situation in Ukraine, EU aid, Russian aggression and the reaction of democratic states, and also Estonian-Ukranian economic and political relations.

Ilves, Poroshenko and Martin Schulz, the president of the European Parliament, will open the 11th Yalta European Seminar on Friday. Since the Crimea, where Yalta is located, has been annexed by Russia, the conference will take place in Kyiv.
