Morning Fog Delays Flights, Hampers Road Conditions
For the second day in a row, morning fog is creating transportation havoc throughout Estonia.
Air traffic was disrupted this morning at Lennart Meri Airport in Tallinn. Morning flights to Kuressaare and Helsinki were cancelled, and flights to Vilnius and Kärdla are still delayed.
Road visibility is down in many regions of the country, particularly in central and southwest Estonia.
The National Weather Service says that heavy fog is present at monitoring stations in Virtsu, Lääne-Nigula, Kuusiku, Kihnu and Turi, with limited visibility in Tartu.
