Estonian and Dutch armored vehicles collide, Dutch soldier injured
One of the Estonian army's Sisu armored personnel carriers and a Dutch Boxer armored vehicle collided while on an exercise in Estonia.
The accident happened in late Monday afternoon at the Estonian Defense Forces' central training area, Keskpolügoon in Harju county. The area is the main military training facility for Estonian and Allied infantry vehicles.
Dutch Army's Boxer vehicle collided with the Estonian personnel carrier while driving round the bend, on the rough surface road.
The Boxer's driver, a Dutch serviceman, was injured and taken to hospital.
The investigation of the circumstances behind the accident is currently in progress.
