The members of the 13th Estonian Parliament have so far set up couple a dozen parliamentary groups to advance relations with foreign nations.

The members of the 13th Estonian Parliament have formed parliamentary groups to advance relations with foreign nations. The groups are: Estonia-Azerbaijan, South-Asia, Georgia, China, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, South-Korea, Latvia, Moldova, Norway, Portugal, France, Sweden, Germany, Finland, the UK, Denmark, Ukraine, the US, Belarus, Russia, Australia and New Zealand, Netherlands, Iceland, Poland, Turkey, Austria, Italy and Mongolia.

Parliamentary groups help the MPs communicate with other national parliaments, carry out Estonia's foreign policy, and promote Estonia around the world.

The new parliament has also set up three associations that offer support to Taiwan, Tibet and Finno-Ugric peoples, in addition to 10 more associations that help MPs and factions draw attention to specific topics and support interest groups in Estonia.

The 12th Riigikogu had 57 groups and 52 associations in total.
