Tallinn Stock Exchange's stock index OMX Tallinn passed 893 points this week, the first time since October 2007.

The market is up 1.4 percent since Monday and 6.5 percent in the past month, Äripäev reported.

The rise goes against the global trend where markets have been down in recent weeks.

Currently, 14 companies are listed on the Tallinn Stock Exchange, with two more on a secondary list.
