Nordic Aviation to start flights with new aircraft at start of new week ({{commentsTotal}})

The new Estonian state-owned airline Nordic Aviation will start services with a CRJ-700 aircraft rented from Regional One and Estonian language onboard service at the beginning of next week.

"We will start flying with our own aircraft at the beginning of next week, right now we're dealing with paperwork," Nordic Aviation spokesperson Liis Veersalu told BNS on Friday.

She said the company also is busy searching a name for itself and with branding. "The search for a name is on, maybe we will come out with the new name in January or in February."

A second aircraft to be rented from the U.S. carrier Regional One is expected to start operation in February.

Nordic Aviation Group began to offer flights on Nov. 8. The flights are currently operated by Adria Airways in cooperation with BMI, Trade Air, NextJet and Carpatair that provide the fleet and the crews.
