Goods turnover at Muuga terminals down 1.1% ({{commentsTotal}})

The turnover of goods at stevedoring company Transiidikeskuse AS’s terminals was 639,000 tons in the first quarter of this year, which is 1.1% less than in the same period in 2015.

The company’s freight container terminal in Muuga handled 48,400 container units (TEUs), which is 8.7% less than in the same period a year ago. The total tonnage of goods decreased by 4.2% in the same period, Transiidikeskuse AS reported.

The company’s general goods terminal handled 122,200 tons of timber and goods in the first quarter, which is 14.4% more than in the same period in 2015.

Founded in 1996, Transiidikeskuse AS is a stevedoring company specializing in the operation of container and general freight terminals.
