According to Statistics Estonia data, the number of new marriages in the country continued to increase in 2015; while a total of 6,220 marriages were registered in 2014, that total increased to 6,815 in 2015. The most popular month for getting married in 2015 was July, with a total of 1,267 couples tying the knot, while the least popular was January, which accounted for just 310. The majority of those who got married in 2015 were between 25 and 29 years of age.
