Estonian fast boat operator increases number of daily departures to 12
Lindaliin, operator of fast boats on the Tallinn-Helsinki route, will increase the number of daily departures to 12 as of Monday.
According to head of the company Enn Rohula, the company at present operates two fast catamarans, Merilin and Karolin. The boats operate between the two capital cities six times a day in both directions as of Monday.
The start of the company's summer season was less windy than last year, Rohula said.
"Our customers usually travel to Helsinki for work, and for them a fast and comfortable boat service is important," Rohula said, adding that Lindaliin offers the fastest connection between Tallinn and Helsinki.
Lindaliin operates two fast catamarans, Karolin and Merilin, on the Tallinn-Helsinki route under the Linda Line Express brand. About 300,000 passengers use the company's services each year.
