Writer, political scientist Kirsberg joins EKRE after being thrown out of Free Party ({{commentsTotal}})

Writer and political scientist Georg Kirsberg, who was thrown out of the Free Party in early June after being accused of racism, has since joined the Conservative People's Party of Estonia (EKRE).

According to Commercial Register data, Kirsberg has been a member of EKRE since July 27.

The Free Party justified the expulsion of Kirsberg from their party by citing the issue that his [public] statements, in the form of social media posts, damaged the party's reputation and did not correspond to the party's values.
