Estonia to allocate €660,000 aid to Afghanistan
Estonia is to allocate a total of more than 660,000 euros to the Afghanistan trust fund and a second fund that supports the development of police forces.
According to a ministerial order published in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' document register, Estonia is to allocate 400,000 euros for the Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Fund (ARTF) managed by the World Bank, it can be seen from a ministerial order published in the document register of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Estonia is to allocate an additional 266,975 for the Law and Order Trust Fund for Afghanistan (LOFTA), which is managed by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
The money will be allocated from the ministry's 2016 budgetary funds earmarked for development and humanitarian aid.
