Lindaliin cancels all Friday departures due to high winds
Lindaliin, the operator of a high-speed ferry connection between Tallinn and Helsinki, canceled all of its scheduled departures for Friday due to high winds.
According to company policy, Lindaliin's vessels do not operate if conditions include wind speeds exceeding 15 meters per second, or 33.5 miles per hour, and waves over two meters, or six and a half feet, high.
Lindaliin operates two high-speed catamarans, the Karolin and the Merilin, between the Estonian and Finnish capitals.
