The express ferry operator Linda Line Express announced early on Wednesday morning that it would not be operating its Tallinn-Helsinki-Tallinn route due to strong winds.

At wind speeds over 15 m/s and wave heights of above 2 m, the company’s ships Karolin and Merilin couldn’t operate within reasonably comfortable limits.

The company also announced that its 8:00 a.m. journey from Helsinki to Tallinn on Oct. 6 was cancelled.
