Bomb Scare in Tallinn's Intercity Bus Station

On the evening of December 28, a briefcase left in the boarding area of the intercity bus station triggered a bomb alert.

According to Rescue Board press representative Reimo Raja, the authorities received a call at 17:49 concerning a suspicious briefcase on a bus boarding platform, Postimees wrote.

The bomb squad arriving on the spot discovered that the briefcase did not contain any explosives. According to the intercity bus information desk, departures and arrivals were not disrupted by the incident.
