ISS: Estonia's threat level unchanged following London attack
According to Estonia's Internal Security Service (ISS), the country's threat level was not changed as a result of Wednesday's terrorist attack in London; national security would remain ensured using existing measures and forces.
Minister of the Interior Andres Anvelt discussed the situation with ISS Director General Arnold Sinisalu in connection with Wednesday's terrorist attack in London, spokespeople for the ministry said.
"Unfortunately it is not possible to prevent all such attacks anywhere int he world," Anvelt conceded. "Still, we should not let ourselves be frightened because that is exactly what the eople behind such attacks want."
The minister affirmed that all relevant institutions are observing developments, are in contact with their foreign partners and will definitely share necessary information with the public.
Anvelt offered condolences to British colleague Amber Rudd following Wednesday afternoon's terror attack outside of London's Houses of Parliament in which five people died, including one police officer and the suspected attacker, and approximately 40 were injured.
