Foreign minister condemns attack in Egypt, offers condolences
Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sven Mikser condemned the recent attack on a bus carrying Coptic Christians in central Egypt, offering his condolences to his Egyptian colleague Sameh Shoukry.
"There can be no place in our world for such a brutal attack," Mikser said according to spokespeople. "We must do everything to ensure that attacks like this are not repeated.
"My sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims and to the people of Egypt," he said. "I wish a speedy recovery to all wounded."
At least 28 people were killed and more than 20 wounded in an attack carried out on a bus carrying Coptic Christians in central Egypt. The attack on Friday was the most recent in a series of similar attacks carried out against Coptic Christians in Egypt over the last six months.
