Minister of Foreign Affairs Sven Mikser (SDE) offered his condolences to his Egyptian colleague Sameh Shoukry following a deadly terrorist attack that took place at a mosque in Egypt's North Sinai region on Friday.
"My sincere sympathies go out to the families of the victims and all of the people of Egypt," Mikser said. "I hope for a rapid recovery for those who were injured.
"We severely condemn this terror attack," he continued. "Such attacks must not recur and the international community must be resolute in continuing the fight against terrorism."
Both bombs and small arms were used in an attack of the al-Rawdah mosque located 40 kilometers east of al-Arish, the capital of the North Sinai Governorate, on Friday.
