This Friday, Tõravere's Tartu Observatory will host a Christmas mood concert by soulful soprano Kristina Vähi and dynamic and expressive pianist Riina Pikani. The repertoire is to include works by Schumann, Tubin, Ojakäär and others.

Tartu Wintry Folk Dance Day 2017
Town Hall Square, Tartu
Dancers from Tartu and Tartu County will perform Estonian folk dances and simple social dances in Tartu's Town Hall Square. Violinist Indrek Kalda will add to the magic, and folk dance specialist, teacher and lecturer Vaike Rajaste will tie the event together. The whole celebration will be directed by Kati Grauberg-Longhust. Come and see — and perhaps even join in! — some of the most well-loved Estonian folk dances!
