'Rat King' to Show at Tribeca Film Festival

The feature film "Rat King," an Estonian-Finnish co-production, has been tapped for entry in New York's Tribeca Film Festival, held April 18 to 29.
The thriller, directed by Finland’s Petri Kotwica, will be one of eight films screened in the festival's international Cinemania section.
"Rat King" is the story of an 18-year-old man who spends his days absorbed in online computer games, avoiding school and shutting out his friends and girlfriend. His life, however, takes a turn when one of his online gaming buddies turns up at his door fearing for his life because of a mysterious new game.
The Tribeca Film Festival was launched in 2002 in order to breathe new life into Lower Manhattan's Tribeca neighborhood, which lost much of its vitality after the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center. Over the past decade, the annual festival has become one of the most prestigious of its kind.
