'Design House' To Open

The Estonian Design House, product of a civic initiative that bills itself as a showroom for the country's work in the field, is set to open on December 18 at the Kalasadam port in Tallinn.
Located in a historical limestone building owned by clothing designer Ivo Nikkolo, the Design House also has a cafe-club and free Wifi and will host various design events - workshops, new product release events.
It will be home to the studios of Monika Järg, Igor Volkov, Stella Soomlais, Marko Ala and Joonas Torim, offices of the Association of Designers and Disainiöö festival and the Oot-Oot Club. The building is located at Kalasadama 8.
