Presidential Couple Visits Ireland

Departing for an official visit to Dublin on Monday, President Ilves will meet with Irish President Michael D. Higgins and Prime Minister Enda Kenny.
Ilves will give a speech on cyber-security at a conference put on by the Institute of International and European Affairs, a leading Irish think tank. The president's speech will touch on Estonia's achievements in e-governance and experiences with cyber security, a press release said.
Cyber security has been a major topic in Ilves's speeches abroad. He has stressed the need for international and private-public cooperation in the field.
Meanwhile, the first lady, Evelin Ilves, is visiting Dublin upon the invitation of the local Estonian community, and will meet with their respective cultural and athletic representatives. She will also meet with the organizers of Green School, a project that promotes environmentally friendly and healthy lifestyles for students.
The president and the first lady return to Estonia on Wednesday evening.
